Attendance
Attendance: Weekly attendance is strongly encouraged. Excused lesson will be rescheduled at the teacher’s discretion. Make up lessons are not guaranteed unless 48 hours notice is given to the teacher. To discontinue, pause, or change lessons, written notice must be sent via email by the 15th of the final month of lessons.
Scheduling: Studio scheduling is done via our online software “My Music Staff.” New students will be added to the program and sent a link to create a login.
Absences: Student conflicts should be submitted via the Google Form sent out on the tenth of each month. Late submissions (excepting illness or emergency) are not eligible for reschedule or refund. A minimum notice of 48 hours is required for any schedule conflicts or changes aside from illness or emergencies. If less than 48 hours notice is given, the lesson will be considered a missed lesson and will not be rescheduled. Credits or refunds will not be issued for any reason.
Tardiness: Instructors will wait one-third of the scheduled lesson before it will be considered a missed lesson. The teacher cannot go over the scheduled time limit. Instructor delays will not reduce a student's lesson time.
Illness: All members of a household must be symptom and fever free for a full 24 hours before a lesson. If a student or family member stays home from school/work, they should let the teacher know by 10 AM CST to reschedule. Instructor may cancel a lesson without rescheduling if anyone appears unwell.
Emergencies: Exceptions to this policy due to illness, emergencies and/or extenuating circumstances will be at the discretion of the teacher.
Lesson Transfers: Lessons are not transferable between students of the same household unless previously agreed upon at least 48 hours in advance.
