Summer Cabaret Camp
What to Expect
Join us for a month filled with music-making! Learn what it means to plan, prepare, and perform a Cabaret Show! Students will learn from guest speakers, collaborate with other musicians to plan a show, and then perform at the end of the month with a full band!
We will be joined by an local director who will discuss the history of cabaret, what goes into a show, and how to set yourself apart as a cabaret performer.
❋ Guest Speaker
Students will have the opportunity to work with each other to choose a theme and the selections to be used for the cabaret show!
❋ Collaboration With Others
Each student will be allotted time for solo pieces alongside the group numbers to work one-on-one with Josephine in a vocal coaching each week.
❋ Coaching & Instruction
The performance will be held with a live band at the end of the camp! Students will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform with a full ensemble in the final show.
❋ Live Band
